Detailed formatting and submission requirements for authors submitting manuscripts to the SIES Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation

All manuscripts must be written in English. Authors whose first language is not English should ensure that their manuscript has been professionally proofread before submission.

Provide author information and affiliation in the following structure:

  • Full name of each author
  • Academic designation/title
  • Department name
  • Institution/University name
  • City, State, Country
  • Email address (corresponding author marked with asterisk *)
  • ORCID ID (if available)

Referencing Style

Use the latest APA (7th Edition) style for all references. References should be arranged in alphabetical bibliography format with standard author–date in-text citations.

Guidelines for Figures

  • Number figures consecutively (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.)
  • Place caption below the figure
  • Submit high-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI)
  • Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG, TIFF

Guidelines for Tables

  • Number tables consecutively (Table 1, Table 2, etc.)
  • Place caption above the table
  • Tables should be editable (not images)
  • Use horizontal lines only (no vertical lines)

Abstract

Maximum Word Count: 250 words

The abstract should provide a concise summary of the research including:

  • Background and objectives
  • Methods used
  • Key findings
  • Main conclusions

Keywords

Number of Keywords: 5–7 keywords

Keywords should be specific, relevant to the study, and arranged alphabetically, separated by commas.

The manuscript should follow this standard structure:

Statistical & Validity Requirements

Authors should provide appropriate statistical analysis to support their findings. The following are recommended:

Recommended Statistical Tests & Tools

  • ANOVA: For comparing means across multiple groups
  • SPSS: For comprehensive statistical analysis
  • Regression Analysis: For examining relationships between variables
  • Correlation Analysis: For measuring the strength of associations
  • t-test: For comparing means between two groups
  • Chi-square test: For categorical data analysis

Reporting Format

  • Report exact p-values (e.g., p = 0.023) instead of ranges
  • Include effect sizes where applicable
  • Provide confidence intervals for key estimates
  • Clearly state the statistical software and version used
  • Include sample size calculations for experimental studies

Submission Procedure

Follow these steps to submit your manuscript through our website:

Prepare Your Abstract

Write your abstract (250 words max) with 6-8 keywords and a 50-word bio-note.

Email Abstract for Initial Review

Send your abstract to jmri.siesascn@sies.edu.in for preliminary evaluation.

Await Abstract Acceptance

You will receive an acceptance decision within 4 to 8 weeks of submission.

Pay Processing Fee

After abstract acceptance, pay the processing fee of INR 500/-.

Submit Full Paper

Click the "Submit Manuscript" button on the website and fill out the submission form with all required details and upload your complete manuscript.

Peer Review Process

Your manuscript will undergo blind peer review. You may be asked to make revisions based on reviewer feedback.

7

Final Acceptance & Publication

Once approved, your paper will be published in the upcoming issue of the journal.
